Evaporation problems! help yawl!

I use basic extraction, water> lye> MHRB> Naphtha> , pull naphtha and evaporate. that simple. asking for tips for more quantity/ quality. Recently the yields have been significantly less. Does the temperature of the evap room or fan temp have any influence? I dont do the freezing method, still a bit confused on how that part works. Any tips would be appreciated!

tell us more about your extraction. how exactly you do it ? maybe then someone may be able to help you with quantity/quality improvement

before you start pulling make sure you do no use to much naphtha. then after pull(s) you can evaporate a bit of naphtha till it gets cloudy.then put it in freezer for at least 17hours no need more then 24hours. dmt will precipitate because freezing cold naphtha can not hold dmt

freez precip is more economical cos you can reuse naphtha and I found this method to produce cleaner product but thats my experience

Are you using an STB (staight to base) tek or and A/B (acid / base) tek?

If you are going STB then you'll need to invest a lot more time as the alkaloids are almost insoluble in water in their freebase form.

Try leaving the soup to sit for 48 hours before you do the naptha pulls if you are using STB.

This. Also add warm Naptha, agitate, and then let it cool down a couple of hours with occasional swirling (every 30 minutes). This should give higher yields as there is more time for an equilibrium.

i've found freezing to be the best way, a combination rather. put it in the freezer overnight, and pour the cold naphtha out of the original dish into another baking dish and place back into the freezer. Now with your glass dish that will have bumps of DMT stuck to it if there is any, let the remaining drops of naphtha evaporate, and you will get a frosty looking, white film with some white bumps on the bottom. scrape with a razor blade and enjoy

and as for the naphtha you put back in the freezer, just let evaporate and this film will form again. I've found that it evaporates fastest on a windy day outside, in the shade. but either way, it will take up to 5 hours, usually around 3 or 4.
