I think you've made a couple algebraic errors. 0.001/187.27 = 5.3*10^-6 mol (not 5.3*10^-5 as you've written), and (5.3*10^-5)*(6.02*10^23) = 3.2*10^18 molecules (even accounting for your figure of 5.3*10^-5, you've still somehow gained another order of magnitude in this step).
