Excited to Explore the Nexus

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
I've been a member (albeit a new member) for a while now, but never introduced myself.

I've been a long-time lurker far before I became a member, long enough to know that indeed there is much knowledge and wisdom to be found within the Nexus, and I know I don't have to tell any of you that. I have a vast respect for this community, and in many ways I see the Nexian vision as a step forward for the human species.

A little bit about myself...

I have a strong interest and passion in anything in the realms of botany, psychology, philosophy, chemistry, pharmacology, religion, esotericism, spirituality, Buddhism, alchemy, various methods of consciousness alteration, entheogenic plants and chemicals, etc...

I admit I've been looking through the Nexus even more recently due to some extraction projects I'd like to undertake. What better place to search for valuable information and tips than here?

As for psychoactive compounds, my experimentation has included the exploration of arylcyclohexylamines, phenethylamine psychedelics, lysergamides and of course tryptamines. They all fascinate me not only by their extraordinary subjective effects but also by their chemical properties and pharmacological behavior.

I have a profound love and respect for DMT in particular. Out of all the mind-manifesting molecules I've come across, DMT has indeed been the most paradigm shattering. My experiences with smoking/vaping it range from having full psycho-therapeutic release, abiding in non-dual mind, and of course having an artistic display of impossible shapes and entities drenched with mythology that could inspire even the most stubborn of fools appear behind my eyelids. There is no doubt, everything about DMT is awe-inspiring. A romantic notion, but I believe if used properly and with respect it could propel mankind into a new wave of evolution, one that would advance the understanding of the nature of reality as well as ourselves (I wonder if there's even any difference between the two?...perhaps not).

'Tis nothing short of an honor to be here, and I am humbled to be a part of this community. You all have my word that my conduct will be of respect and open-mindedness with a willingness to learn.

I'm excited to explore the Nexus and learn from all of you. I also apologize if my introductory essay is terribly dramatic, but this is how I feel.

the game of consciousness is nothing but a drama eh
welcome to the nexus, you got this Espurrr's vote, but that won't be enough !
if you'd like, you could share an extraction process, experience report and pop in chat every once in a while !
let it be know that you are here !

Nice introduction. I feel much like you do, this is an awesome community that I have much respect for. I share many of your interests. I have learned so very much reading here. I like that I feel intimidated by the knowledge and wisdom found here this indicates to me that I will become better educated about the things that matter to me. The Nexus really is an Entheogenic University.

A marvelous and many times frightening drama indeed!

Thanks, I feel welcomed. I will for sure try to be more active and contribute in any way I can. Cheers!

Thanks! I agree, some of the information I see spread through the Nexus is slightly intimidating (in a good way). Some of the methods that have been discovered and shared with this community sometimes leave me scratching my head thinking "how the hell did they even figure that out?". It's wonderful. This is certainly an Entheogenic University, except all the teachers are chill and everyone contributes to this knowledge.
