Rising Star
Hey all,
Thanks for allowing me here. I am living on a 10 acre farm in Lucban, Quezon province on the Island Of Luzon. I am retired and basically living the good life of a hermit. My purpose here is to share my knowledge of nutrition and off grid energy systems ( mostly made from junk or from natural materials), with the locals who are quite poor.
The emphasis on nutrition is to help the poor here understand that healing comes from what we eat and put in our bodies. My background is Culinary Arts (along with a 20 year stretch in the Navy).
I have been researching DMT and the availability of indigenous plants here. I have located "Payang-Payang" (Desmodium Pulchellum) and have some in my possesion. It's a lowland bush or shrub that is quite common in areas like Batangas. My quest here is to understand a clean method of extraction, keeping in mind that I am up in the hills in a small country. All the common products are available here (soda, acetone etc).
Thank you for any help I get here. My journey has been a good one, and I continue on.
Pete

Welcome to the Nexus!

What kind of non-polar solvents can you find there? Maybe essential orange oil/limonene? Or maybe petrochems such as naphtha, xylene ? Then there is also the option of checking into food-oil teks, check the sustainable extractions subforum.

Very cool about the sustainable projects, recycling and all, that will be very appreciated info here!

I dont know much about this plant, extraction will depend on alkaloid profile, but as a general guideline, yeah a typical dmt extraction should work. Maybe a couple recrystallizations will be necessary depending on impurities. But better find out if there is enough dmt and if there isnt some other poisonous alkaloid first, what info did you find, any links?

Good luck, and hope to hear more from you!

Hi frankyzee,

I'm also in the Philippines. How is it going there?

It's good to hear you have Desmodium availbale.

I'm currently going crazy about looking for acacia confusa or any legumes/ mimosae around here but really,
i can't find anything.

Were you succesful in any extractions? PM me your local mobile number.
I can get stuff from the city and bring it there if you need help.

So far I got places to get acids and bases (Manila) here for A/B extract like the ones I see for Acacia.

Does anyone know if these are the same thing for Desmodium extraction?

"My purpose here is to share my knowledge of nutrition and off grid energy systems"

I would definatily like to know more! Welcome to the nexus :)

Wow... Sorry all for not getting back here to these posts. If you want too, you can always email me at ppem1956@yahoo.com

Anyway, my "Payang Payang" ended up in the compost pile. I know I can still get it in Batangas area and quite possibly here in Quezon.
Kratom or "Mambog" in Tagalog is here too and i would love to find some. I tried an MHRB extraction and failed miserably. I still have about 1 1/2 lb of MHRB and some Syrian Rue. I hate the thought of traveling the traditional Ayuasca route, becuase of the vomiting.
I have been toying with some cannabis tincture and also made some canni-gluclose... both were relatively easy. I am in Lucena City for awhile but will be heading back to the farm soon. I have some videos on youtube of the farm on my "frankyzee" channel... add me.
Peace, Peter
