Extract dmt from pg/vg liquid

Hi
I've some eliquid that i made years ago, was too diluted and i would like to rextract the goodies.
Is possible using eco friendly solvent ?
 
From what I’ve read from other members who have extracted old E liquid, you can just perform a small extraction by dissolving the E liquid in acidic water and then perform an extraction as usual.

Please let us know your results as this is quite new and might be valuable for others to know.

Isn't better to use some nonpolar solvent directly and extract the freebase ? What is ph/vg solution was freebase.

Didnt work for me.
Used hexane straight into vape juice, shook it around and pulled off the nps to freeze.
No crystals.

I then dissolved the vape juice with citric acid in water.
After that I used caustic soda to basify the water/acid vape juice which became cloudy.
Then added nps and managed to retrieve about 80% of the dmt.
Bear in mind Im working in a test tube, so its been like 3 pulls of 10ml of nps.
 
So i would like to start doing this extraction, first question it's a problem if i leave all in acid solution or base for some days ? I don't have discreet time to fo that in one day.

Then, in ejuce there's likebone gram or little more DMT some from crystal eland dome is goo, i dissolve in water and citric acid now it's like 2 ph, i have to go untill 4ph ?

After i have to use naphta, how much per pull ? Should be warmed ?

Then separate and freeze precipt ?

Shouldn't be a problem, I left mine for a week.

Didnt measure the ph, just dissolved half a teaspoon of citric acid crystals in the same volume of water as the ejuice.

Didnt warm, just extracted, evaporated half of the nps to concentrate the solution and then freeze precip.
Its basically an A/B extraction on very small amounts, like test tube for solutions and a glass petri dish for evap.
 
Thanks, i put a lot of water indeed, but i think isn't a problem, or i can reduce it evaporating a low heat ? So i will use the same volume like the ejuce per pull.
In the photo the ejuce in water and cirtic acid...smell like orange juice...

Wait was the e juice flavored? Then first try and see if you can separate the flavors from the acidic stage by extracting with your NPS and then continue basing and extracting with fresh NPS.

The volume is unnecessary large but should work, you could also add salt to it the chance the ionic strength of the solution, this should help to push your DMT to the NP fase.

No wasn't flavored, maybe is the citric and the color and spice remind me orange.
 
Hi again, the acid solution is still there, i don't find time and free safe space to continue, meanwhile i was thinking to try to evaporate the solution to concentrate before other steps, it's safe to boil the acid/dmt solution ? What temperature doesn't degrade goods ?
 
i had the same problem earlier, but experimented a bit, and have subsequently done it several times with good results. as mentioned earlier make a mini a/b. add water and acid and make dmt to salt. it will draw up in the water. remove e liquid from the mixture, basify, and extract as normal

if your vape juice has a yellow color, you will easily see that the acidic water turns yellow as a confirmation that dmt has been applied to the water

why do you wanna evaporate before basifying? besides that, it's better and more gentle if you have a fan that blows directly onto the surface and creates circulation. heating it can also be done, but if you use the fan method, you can't do anything wrong that ruins your result

Because is too much water, and i have little space for the nps, anyway i basify and add nps but in the bottles i have there's little space and it's difficult to relase pressure...so i gave to find a big bottle. But isn't much important, just to experiment a bit.
 
Didn't work, i had no time yo fo properly and the freeze precipitation didn't work, so i evaporate the nafta and use ipa to get what remains, is still in the ipa.
