Does anyone else find a similarity between solving a Rubik's cube and doing an extraction?
I’ve been asked why I enjoy solving a Rubik’s cube and have been at a loss. Doing it for speed has never interested me. But, I notice some of the same feelings in doing an extraction – the need to recognize where you are in the process, the solving of one layer and then moving on to further solution steps that require not permanently screwing up what has already been achieved, yet if mistakes are made all is not lost... There is something satisfying about it, and I kind of feel solving a cube is an exercise in clear thinking. But maybe in the end DMT just makes me see a bunch of colorful squares. That's quite a generic question, can you be a bit more specific in your train of thoughts?
I mean, both need step-by-step planning, attention to detail, pattern recognition and mostly patience and practice.
