Rising Star
Greetings Nexus, after years of research and anticipation I finally had/have the opportunity to explore hyperspace. But I'm not so sure if what I'm using is the real deal..or if it's just weak. With nothing else to compare to, I need your help.
I placed around 25-30mg sandwiched between ashes in my Arizer solo bent stem. I started at 185°C, setting 2, which I thought would be the perfect temperature. Hardly any vapor was produced, but once I moved it up a setting a semi-harsh, light invisible vapor shot directly into my lungs. I attempted to hold it in but it's almost like my body had an instant reflex to cough it out. On the next 2 pulls, I was able to keep the vapor in my lungs and just kind of coughed while keeping my mouth closed and holding it in. There was never any thick, vapor clouds like when vaping marijuana, more like "ghosting" of the vapor. But I did see a little vapor cloud when taking my lips off the stem. Is it supposed to be like this? I've read about people getting thick milky vapor clouds so that's the first thing that made me alarmed. Now onto the effects..
After exhaling the 3rd pull, it was like an eerie silence fell over the room. I felt the need to whisper to myself and the vape looked a little more detailed in my hand (maybe a tiny bit more far away too). I took another pull and when I exhaled I felt an overwhelming need to just go lay down, like I was going to fall asleep that second. There were no open eye visuals, and nothing closed eyed still, just a really really tired sensation. I figured falling asleep wasn't the way you blastoff, so I kept taking more and more vapor hits until I was struggling to stay awake and to make sure I cleared the amount. Still no visuals or anything closed eye...maybe the lighting looked a little brighter on the wall but I don't know if that was just a placebo effect. And background noises just seemed dimmed down or lower.
So my main question is..does this sound at all like what happens when you first try it? How do I know that I wasn't just holding in some noxious chemical, thus cutting off oxygen flow to the brain temporarily, making me feel the need to run and fall asleep? That really tired feeling only lasted about 5 minutes (which I felt maybe was a good sign), it didn't cause me to go to bed for the night.. And once I was done feeling all tired, I did have to run and pee really bad! which I read some users experience. But again, if you inhaled unknown chemicals I'm sure your body would attempt to clear it out quickly as possible too!
It's a light tan powder with shiny little specs which I hope to be crystals but I'm really not sure. The mason jar I'm storing it in smells like pool chemicals when you open it which worries me a bit but obviously I'm not familiar with the proper smell and that could be normal. It left a thick, black resin at the bottom of the vapor stem and it does actually smell like a new pair of shoes wrapped in tissue paper if I had to pick a scent.
Do you think this is real? Should I keep trying? Any advise helps!
