That sounds wonderful. I've had vine sitting around for awhile, but haven't been so sure about the tea. Mainly because of the extended uneasiness afterwards and the knotted stomach before and after I imagine like with mushrooms. Have you ever had that experience on mushrooms? Was it similar to the tea for you?

Congratulations on your first taste of the vine! The visions can be hit and miss, but when you have a strong one it will blow you away... but it's not all about the fireworks... although they are indeed the icing on the cake :)

Sounds like a great first psychedelic experience! I think practice and experience will help a lot in getting past the overwhelm. Best wishes!

that seems wonderful..

I've discussed making aya various times with my friend but we haven't yet reached an agreement as to when or how etc.

Did you feel that during your experience you were introspective and couldn't communicate with anyone? Is it something that you could take as a group?

Hi 3maester,
A very nice report and quite inspiring, that's for sure! I find it fascinating that you tasted of the Oneness, even on this maiden voyage. Have you smoked the extracted crystals since your initial journey? If not, you're gonna love the sky-rocketing effects! Although it leaves little time to adjust to the defragmentation of the mortal self, as it rips away accumulated barriers and such. Remember, fear is just the gravity of the ego and is necessary to keep the levels of consciousness in running order. Fear is one of the masks worn by what we could label as, "Satanic force". Even evil is a servant of God and one of the gate keepers, whose job is to keep the boundaries intact, between the finite and infinite. Darkness loses all reality, when the light shines brightly. Ultimately, we all need to fix our internal compass on this star and voyage towards the clear light. I have always found, that if one treats this malevolant force as a dutiful sentinel, of sorts, it is far easier to release it's influence and move onwards and upwards. I simply salute this sentinel and pass on bye (ideally). That being said, as our egos are woven from myriad fibers of illusion, so too, is the negative power. Consciously directing a beam of pure love and acceptance towards fear, confussion, abject terror, insecurity or anxiety... helps to dissolve the fixed, earthly personal-self into the unlimited Cosmic Self. Please forgive me if I digress... :)

It does sound like the elixir comes-on more gradually, yes? You may prefer a slower approach to encountering the vortex of a breakthrough/ awakening? I kind of liked being fired like a cannon ball into the spiralling intensity of the Grid. Perhaps the sacred brew makes it a gentler transition? I wonder if vomiting is typical with Ayahuasca encounters, as with peyote? I am also curious if the combination of caapi & mimosa hostilis is the preferred mixture? I have noticed several combinations of plant materials described as "Ayahuasca" on this website: Ayahuasca kit 2 These folks offer several mixtures, under this name and I am ignorant about these magical herbs. Other esteemed members, can anyone point em in the right direction, please? Also, is this a good source and/or price for these ingredients? I was wondering how the two compare, ingestion versus smoking, since I have just had the one experience with DMT. I am eager to drink the sacred broth myself, since it is the traditional, native shamanic method.

Also, I was wondering if you smoked any ganja while you were dancing with Ayahuasca? I have always felt cannabis is like an ambassador to it's more powerful allies and so, makes the transitions up and down, much more smooth. Our smokey little sister Mary Jane, helps to lift the edges of the veil of sentient illusion, just enough to glimpse a tiny bit of what is radiating from the other side. I hope this is not offensive to the spirit of Ayahuasca? I have sensed some Jealousy (for lack of a better word) form the spirit of psilocybin, in regards to reefer. Is the combination a kind of sacrilege? Any information would be helpful. Thanks 3maester and All.
