Hello everyone, I was introduced to dmt by a friend yesterday. I don't think I have to tell you how it made me feel. I smoked 2 inhalations then lay down on a friends bed and closed my eyes. Curiosity made me attempt to open my eyes but it was as if I had none. I didn't need eyes or eyelids. I heard beautiful whispering voices in an unknown language telling me to be calm. Reminding me to breathe. Every time I breathed it was like drawing something closer to me, or something pulling me further from myself.

Something with many limbs was right in front of me, transparent and beautiful. Light catching in the little corners of it's 'limbs'. As soon as I realised it was there and it was happy to see me, it began to dance around a little. At one point I remember thinking "that looks like a corner" and as soon as I thought that, the being popped it's head around said corner playfully. I also began thinking about my eyes and wether they were experiencing this with me or not. As soon as I thought about my eyes for a few seconds too long they began to steam up like a visor. It was as if my mind was being read and whoever was reading it had nothing but the desire to play with me in the most fun and childish of ways.

Whilst still under the influence I turned to look at my friend, asking if I was still there. I looked at him and saw a bright yellow/purple glow around him.

Eye opening to say the least. What a fantastic experience. How many people must there be out there who will never even know?

I hope you enjoyed reading about my first experience. I will definately post my memories of my next journey.

I know what you mean. I discovered this wonderful molecule at the age of 56. I am so glad I did discover it now. Better at this later point in my life than never. If never, I feel that I would have missed out one of lifes most interesting experiences!

I too, know the feeling. I have yet to break into the mysteries of hyperspace, but I get that feeling after each session. People simply don't know what they are missing, and I totally understand wherefrom Terrence McKenna got his motivation!
Great first experience mate, I too have had a "real" first one recently! (report: 45mg - subbreakthrough delight)
Your report is very well written for a first experience! I wonder, how did you feel on the coming up? Were you feeling anxious/calm?

Nice report. Pretty awesome huh? I know exactly what you mean about trying to open your eyes in DMT space, it's an almost indiscribable sensation. Since my first extraction and trip about a week ago (first time was the day Michal Jackson died. )I've been introducing all my friends that are ready to the spice. Five people so far. Like you said people need to experience this.

West-en to answer your question; As I was coming up I was aware that I would have absolutely no logical comprehension of most of what I would experience as my friend had tried to explain. I had been advised simply to go with anything that happens and remember that it can only last around 10 minutes. I was calm in that I knew it would come and go, however my mind was more excited than it has ever been. Both the rise into it and the descent back out of it were calming natural feelings.

Its nice to see a forum where people are all supportive and respectful.

Great first experience it sounds like, glad to have you on the nexus brother!

Did you experience the 'noetic lightning' that McKenna speaks of when you first took a big rip of spice? That's what really astounded SWIM during his first experience... it was truly WILD. It also provided intensely loving warmth during and after the journey.

I wouldnt know how to put the description of noetic lighting to what I saw, there was a lot of light of different types. I'd listened to some of McKenna's insights whilst reading and learning about DMT so it was in my mind, however I was too taken by what I experienced to even realise that I had any sort of control. The most I tried to control was saying hello and trying to open my eyes. Turned my head to the side and things like that but generally I was still for the most part.
