First Mescaline extraction / Experience Log

Migrated topic.

SWIM is using 69ron's tech on extracting Mescaline from San Pedro Cactus. At the moment, the outer skin layer [ with the coated wax layer taken off] is drying in a dark place. It's going to be a lengthy process to dry all those pieces up.

Anyway, all equipment is ready to be used in the process.
So, SWIM plans to just go over the extraction method in this log. Afterwards, in this same topic, SWIM plans to explain his first experience with mescaline.

SWIM will update this topic once the pieces are dried up.

Hi Pinzj,

You can speed up drying the cactus by either put them in the oven on low temperature (about 50 C), or slice it in thin pieces, put in on paper and then put a fan blowing on them. These ways it'll take less than a day.
Good luck with your extraction and consumption; it's a very fun and rewarding process to do.

Poekus,

Thanks for the information. THe San Pedro pieces are now sliced into thinner pieced, are sitting on a few sheets of towel paper and are placed by a fan.

Most of the pieces drying up have some orange stuff on it. Has this happened to anyone when drying up San Pedro Skin?

Can 69ron's Tek be used to extract mescaline fron fesh cacti without drying the skin out first? If so, what is the point of taking the extra step in drying?
SWIM just ordered 10 x 12" of fresh San Pedro and wants to extract mescaline. Which Extraction Tek should he use? Which one is a better form freebase, acetate, hydrochloride or resin, in terms of experience and ease of calculation of dose?

I am sorry, if this post doesn't belong here.
