First therapeutic LSD shipment in 35 years!!

Migrated topic.

any follow up on this as to how it went?

There was a lecture about this phase II study at the Mind Altering Science Conference in Amsterdam done by the assistant of Dr. Gasser.

Although she gave a good lecture I wasn't impressed with the results. I can't remember all details but the patient who got the best results was the one that was given the low dose placebo. I also saw potential problems/flaws in the study as LSD wasn't the only therapeutic instrument to help these people and the other instruments seemed to me more helpful than the LSD. So apart from the fact that it was good to see that there was a new study involving LSD it also gave the feeling that it would be a long way before we might find a useful medical application for LSD.

Thanks for the update Trav. And yeah, like the exploration of any great frontier, it's going to take a LOT of controlled experiments, gathering data, failures and successes, before any real concrete gain is realized. But at least the pursuit has resumed!!! (idtravlr hugs himself and gazes upwards, eyes closed, in elation and disbelief)!

Good Stuff! I wish the research well!

Peace,
