first time/freeze precipitation questions

after the naphtha separates the first time, and after I shake/separate the next 4 times for a total of 2 hours in the warm bath, I pull the naptha top layer and put it in the glass to put in the freezer. My question is what method do you guys use to seal the glass container the naphtha pulls go into?

I am going to try and use saran wrap over it, with tape so it completely seals, but im assuming the tape will un-stick when the precipitation forms in the freezer. what do you guys use?

any help is appreciated greatly

Well, use those self sealing wraps, those which stick to the dish. Place is properly, so that it sticks to every bit of dish.

I've got myself nice Pyrex dish with lid. That way, I don't even need Saran Wrap.

Never had that happening. Sometimes the NPS layer takes longer to separate, up to an hour. So, try and be patient.

When I said self sealing, I meant those which stick to the ends of the dish. I get those at grocery stores.

Shake and wait it to fully separate. Do this 4-5 times.

Then discard the NPS into your freeze precip vessel.

It's that simple.

Hey, Im done, just done draining the naphtha, and I tried scraping, and I got goo.... im giving it more time to dry, but I got barely any crystals REMOVED: NO SOURCE TALK? any suggestions on what I should do to scrape the goo and some crystals besides giving it more time to dry? I gave it like 45 mins before I tried scraping.

by the way, the naphtha I drained had a lot of specks in it that looked like dmt so I filtered the naphtha ad now have a lump of this yellow looking shit.. any idea what it is?

any advice is greatly appreciated.

Ow, my ears.

That sh...tuff you're talking about is most likely dmt, nmt, and plant fats. It will probably never completely dry. You can still smoke it or you can try to re-x it.

Also, you shouldn't discuss your sources.

and you get crystals in them?

I used mason jars for my last two pulls but since its goo I cant get it out......:(

how do I avoid getting goo next time? I mean I followed the tek by the book, and ive been reading up on "the goo" and from what I could gather it happens to a lot of people. again, how can I avoid this crappy outcome next time?

I will definetly try it, I recently got a separatory funnel and a set of Erlenmeyer flasks, also a set of graduated cylinders as well as a set of pyrex beakers. all I think I need now is a hot plate magnetic stirrer to make it as easy as possible.

any tips/tricks on performing earthwalkers tek or anything that has helped you?

and also, I used Zims clarified hybrid a/b salt tek

any chance you could link me to the one you use? I found a couple different variations of "earthwalkers" tek online

scratch that, I cant even find the damn tek. I really want to do this successfully, please if you can link me tek, id really appreciate it.
