First time need help with Freeze

SWIM has a question about freeze precip & how to warm Naphtha.

SWIM warmed the Naphtha as safely as he could, he poured some Naphtha into a glass, then put the glass into a pot that had water boiling in it. SWIM left the glass sitting in the hot water (stove was off!) for 10 min. Is this sufficient enough? SWIM does not want to blow up, so this was as best as he thought he could do.

SWIM has a container that has been sitting in the freezer for 3 days and it has crystal formations on the bottom.

SWIM says he will pour the container out into a coffee filter, then put the leftover Naphtha into his "DMT-Black-Sludge" and warm up both the Naphtha and Sludge container, then freeze precip that. Does this sound like a good idea?

He will leave the coffee filter out to dry, and leave his container that was in the freezer to dry to collect crystals.

Please let SWIM know how to do this since this is his very first time and he is scared of messing things up!

when the naptha starts to boil its very warm. one of those little hot plate things works really well. but yea if you dont have one do what one can, without fire hehe.
yea and reusing your naptha and warming both solutions is a good idea. also filtering is good too but you can probaly decant the naptha out instead and just let the crystals sit and wait for the next round of naptha, before you mess with filtering. but this of course depends on the volumes your working with and how good you are at pouring things.

id recommend decanting and pulling with naptha about two or three more times then reduce volume, then freeze precipitate then decant off the left over naptha and let your crystals dry so you dont have to mess with messy filtering. good luck.

I never heat up my naphtha or jugs when doing NP pulls.

Room temperature seems to be just fine for all my extraction needs. I've lost 2.5 grams by putting a glass jar in boiling water. The jar's bottom cracked off and all the naphtha flash boiled and was lost. I've also had a friend loose the contents of two jugs of basified mhrb sludge by heating them up too much. The bottom fell off of one and the handle broke off the other; it took weeks to clean up.

I still get 1%+ yields from multiple room temperature pulls.

SWIM will most likely decant, as that seems to be easier and filters are messy.

SWIM uses HDPE instead of glass so that he doesnt have glass break on him during extractions. SWIM has been using HDPE instead of glass during mescaline extractions, so he figured for the DMT extraction it would be fine.

SWIM tells me he will post pics of his extraction soon after its done.

SWIM also tells me to tell you all thanks for the replies and help.
