First Trip with Salvia

Curiously it was a rather pleasant experience.

Setting: In my bed in my room, listening to some Psybient.
Smoking Utensils: Glass pipe and a torch lighter

T+0:00 Smoked 50mg of 20x
T+0:05 Watching clock, 5 minutes passed, just a body high, start packing another hit.
T+0:10 Smoke 150mg of 20x
T+0:12 Realize still nothing but minimal body high... expected more than this. Pack another hit.
T+0:15 Smoke 100mg of 20x
T+0:17 Realized I've been continually seeing smoke in the pipe and continuing to hit it for 2 minutes (I stopped lighting it at T+0:16). I felt like I was set on a "Replay Loop". Noticed my left vision was gone, and my right vision felt like I was being pressed against an invisible, yet dark swirlingly colored brick wall. I felt the presence of an entity to my left (where I had no vision), and I felt that this "female" presence was playing a practical joke on me with this "replay loop".

I began laughing, and muttering "You clever bitch". The whole experience felt like some cosmic practical joke, and I just kind of mused over the whole situation for another 10 minutes.

Afterwards, I'd have to say it felt similar to a DMT trip, except far darker in nature, no intense visuals, and no "other dimension".

Of course the presence of the entity probably made my mind jump to that feeling of similarity.

In the end, was a pleasant experience (since I do have a sense of humor), and I will be playing with this mischevious substance again soon.
 
Sounds like an interesting but very light trip. You definitely don’t have legitimate 20X extract. If you did, even 50mg would have probably taken you further than you’d care to go. 150mg of plain leaf will often produce effects stronger than what you describe. Your 20X is bunk.

A moderately strong dose of legitimate 20X is about 20mg.

I’m quite certain that if I ever dared to take 150mg of my home-grown, homemade 20X, I’d have the most horrific experience of my life (if I didn’t just black out).


This is why it’s so important to approach commercial extracts very carefully – the “X-factor” has little or nothing to do with the actual strength of the product. As I alluded, if you smoked 150mg of legitimate 20X, I’m sure that instead of “First Trip with Salvia” as a thread title, you’d choose “First and Final Trip with Salvia”.

Weigh your doses – milligram for milligram, legitimate 20X is slightly more potent than freebase DMT (you wouldn’t attempt a 150mg freebase dose of DMT, would you?). Commercial extracts vary wildly from vendor to vendor, so don’t assume that the next time you buy 20X it will be as weak as the product you just used.
 
Thank you for your comments. I would like to find a reliable vendor, but no one seems to know head or tails as far as the Salvia vendors go. It's always "don't trust the X". 50mg was the intended dose if it was really 20x, as I wanted a strong experience.
 
150mg of 20x held in for as long as possible should send you to salvia space big time!

I hAve heard of salvia hardheads so maybe ur one of those :)
 
I would get plain leaf. Never buy extracts from anyone IMO. What is the point? You can easily order plain leaf and buy some acetone and make your own so you know it is really 20x. It is sooooo rediculousily easy. If noone bought extracts it would also diminish the discusting people selling them in corner stores and porn shops etc..I cant see them selling giant bags of plain leaf in the same fasionable way they try to sell people little vials of 20x salvia as some sort of legal high.

So to keep salvia respectable in public eyes and to avoid being ripped off just get plain leaf and make your own extracts..or grow the plant and go from dirt to extract all at home.
 
hi, yes I agree with Fractal, just make your own 20x or even less is enough like 10x. I found out that its so easy to do it and it takes less time than you would expected. You can have it all done in few hours.

I did mine and it was 12x and I smoked only 30mg of it and I did not touch it for very long time it was very intense experience with ego loss and it really scared the hell out of me :)

I recently got back to it and took only a bit :) I have time so I don't want to rush. You take your time , order plain leaves, do the extraction, make your own 20x and start with low dose ;) If you take to big dose you will end up not wonting to smoke it for very long time :)
