Floating crystals in suspension?

Migrated topic.

Has anyone ever had this before?

I have already performed many extractions for the same bark/ lye mix, so I'm really "scraping the barrel" quite literally.

This time the naptha's been in the freezer for over 48 hours and there's many white crystals floating around in it. They've always been stuck to the sides and the bottom when I've done this before. (Which some are, but not all)

Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks.

Maybe not enough crystals, maybe you moved it too often, maybe the container is different? Dont know, doesnt matter much though, just filter them through coffee filter then.. If you can do the filtering quick (vacuum filter) much better, but if not, just filter it normally. Most times it should work just fine, one small percentage of times for some people the crystals seem to melt into the filter. If that happens, just use small amount of warm naphtha to soak up the filter and re-freeze.

I move the jar to much when I'm freezing it, I know I do but it's sooo tempting to look at my crystal babies.
They get knocked off the jar and end up floating around. I let them settle and decant the naptha off as best as possible.
I just don't want to use a coffee filter because I don't want to introduce anymore possible contaminates from it, or have to add extra steps to get the spice out of it.

Let it settle and decant if you can.
