If you want to smoke it anyway make some changa and smoke it slowly itā€™s a bit more forgiving and less likely to get to much, slowly feel your way in.

Both of these vials contain 1g or DMT.

Always weigh your doses. A rather cheap and mostly reliable scale is this one. Just keep in mind it gets somewhat unreliable in the sub-5mg ranges.
 
Yup. And then vacuum distilled DMT will be a quarter of the volume as the one on the right there!

I think DMT you can get away by feel. Just don't vape the entire amount in one hit.

Firstly, I'll raise my hand to say that in my earlier days, about two decades ago, weighing my doses was never a concern for me, so I don't want to appear too hypocritical in frowning at the latter suggestion. 'Feel' might be a difficult thing to judge for newcomers to the experience.

However, my unweighed doses were coupled with a pipe that had a rather small bowl, which I suspect would have made it difficult to fit 30mg of even the densest form of DMT in there. Those early doses were always comparatively mild. To that end, it would be useful to know exactly how dense the crystals of vacuum distilled DMT can get. This might help provide a small safety net for those who find themselves in a situation without access to precsise scales.

Better, perhaps, to undershoot and try again than to inadvertently get PTSD from an overdose. That could be achieved by using a measure that corresponds to 15 - 20 mg of the densest possible form of DMT, although the question of calibration inevitably arises.

I think it's roughly 1g/ml density but not sure I never did actual experimental. Maybe I will do it next week.

I know any heptane crystals I got. It can look 4-8 times more than vacuum distilled DMT!

Maybe my by feel is bias... as I did weigh the DMT before. So I have general idea of what 15-20mg is. Vacuum distilled has always a consistent density too.
