Intro:
IMO it is good that some threads are flagged as "Homework detention".
But i had the thoughts that it probably looks like the thread is to the stand in the pillory.
It feels sort of medievally the way it works currently.
Currently:
If some thread is flagged like that it is moved into the homework detention subsection.
Everyone can see this thread.
None can comment the thread.
Change request:
Make the thread only visible for the creator and admins/moderators.
Affected changes:
The visibility should probably also considered for the "Latests Posts" section and the post history of someones profile.
Considerations:
Will this types of threads ever be moved back to somewhere else?
If yes then how would the "Latests Posts" or the post history of some profile be affected?
Are moved thread handled as new created threads or are they just moved?
If moved, does the timestamp change and does the post reappear in the top of the "Latest Posts" and the profile?
Important:
This are only my thoughts.
Only because I think this currently does not mean that it is/was good/bad.
I think we should collect different oppinions if we want to change this behavior at all.
