Im tired, my head hurts, ima take the rest the night off,

I guess this isn't what you want to hear:

My advice would be...

Just take a step back from thinking for a while.

When we have nothing to think about but our own thoughts, things tend to become confusing or even frustrating.

To me, infinity is imaginable but inconceivable. And it is equally confusing as finiteness.

And I agree with nexian above: take a rest, if you feel mentally exhausted. :)

Much love.

Thanks guys, much appreciation. Been goin a lil too hard on thinking things through, i need a vacation, away from myself lol.

Happy travels!

This. Ive been struggling with the same realizations as you recently. Spending time playing a sport or reading a book definitely helps calm the mind. Its difficult to not think about because its so interesting lol, so I see where you're coming from

Infinity is just as conceivable as nothingness. All you have to do is perceive beyond.

Infinite, what is it? A never ending pattern of repeat events. If something goes on forever, does it not repeat itself eventually? As much time as anything needs to do an infinitely amount of things with infinitely amount of time, you have lived this life before, read this line before, became god before and those Deja'Vue's, they are hiccups in the mind... Something that left an impression enough to remember this time around. I confused the hell out of myself right now.
Nice thread! I agree that the Infinite is often perceived as a never ending pattern... but from my own small understanding, not of repeat events locked in a continuum, per se. As there seems to be this forever spontaneous creativity exploding. And granted, while existing within a cyclical patterning and precise repetition of universal laws unfolding, there seems to be something else which completely defies our feeble attempt at certainty and quantification. Something mysterious and undifferentiated pervades unbound and absolute. A state of being wholly FREE of any finite human reckoning, open to the vortexial fulcrum of the here & now, the limitless field of infinite possibilities abloom.

It suggests an equally unlimited potentiality for never-ending growth, constant change and tremendous expansion. Each new paradigm superseding the current one... and on and on this goes, eternally. So much impermanence pervades the realm of human mortality that we ponder what lies beyond our grasp and this draws our rapt attention beyond the confines of the known.

You know, I was just reading this quote about Pi earlier today and thought it somewhat relevant to this thread. 8)

Pi is an infinite, non-repeating decimal. Meaning that every possible numeric combination exists somewhere in Pi. Somewhere in that infinite string of digits is the name of every person you will ever love. The date time and manner of your death... and the answers to all of the great questions of the universe.

Evidence of the holofractographic structure of the universe can be found within the math of the geometry of the universe's most fundamental structure: the sphere. Within every point in the universe is all the information of the entire universe. We are infinite beings living in an infinite structure we call the universe.

To apologize for this post, i have found something to make this all good!

"At the edge of a singularity, light freezes, unable to face the mystery, but you must go on..."

I take no credit for this as its not my line. But i find it Awsome lol

Namaste,
