I've just paid and downloaded a copy of the Garden of Eden and I was wondering if I could share it here? Or is it against the Nexus policy?

Do not even think about it.

Even though sharing is good and all, I do not see how financially harming Snu Voogelbreinder in this very case is good.

Fair enough. I just thought that this is a classic and should be available to anyone. I guess it is, but I know that 10 bucks can be a lot of money in some situations.

This thread just made me realize something, and this is sort of convoluted so bare with me for a moment.
Most people on earth cannot buy things online (I am one of them), this means that many of them will never see this book you are talking about.
This brings up the point of "well they cannot buy it, so why should they be unable to read it?". A good argument for giving it away. That leaves the problem of Snu not getting paid for a lot of work. A good argument against.
So, heres the answer I think:
Buy two copies if you can, one for yourself and one for your local library.

Im not saying that you are OBLIGED to do this at all, only if you can and want to.
Im also not saying that everyone has access to a library but a lot more do.

And now I am going to find out what this book you are all talking about is because I am suddenly aware of it and now Im curious!

Cheers!
