Garden to fill

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
I've been a forum lurker for a couple of years, and an admirer of psychedelics for nearly 20 years. I've known about DMT since the mid 90's, but it's only since looking into this forum that I've discovered just how common the compound is to my geographical location. Now, I have a young family and responsibilities keeping me away from LSD and the longer acting compounds, but DMT still has a place in my life. I'm amazed at what I've seen!

Now I own a house, with a large garden to fill with trees and shrubs. What better things to plant than beautiful wattles!

I planted a floribunda two years ago which is now 2.5 meters tall. Recently, I picked up 4x acuminata saplings, plus 4x acuminata saplings with narrow phyllodes. I've also got a number of acuminata narrow phyllode seeds which have sprouted and are doing nicely as babies.

It's a long term project, but we're not going anywhere :)

Beautiful plants! I wish you and your family the best of luck and prosperity my friend. If the climate is right throw some cacti in there!

Thanks Jellyfox - the climate is indeed right, but my wife unfortunately doesn't like the look of cacti :(

matusuri what a great intro. i love gardening and i didn't even know the power of acacias when i a was a professional gardener working in other people's yards planting acacias. so nice to see them going into someone's yard that can appreciate them. they are so beautiful even if you don't know about their mysteries... they used to be my favorite trees and i'd tell everybody about how much taste our client had picking acacias lol!!!

now i want a yard but live in an apt. so i plant cactus out front and in my window. let those mighty acacias grow!!!

well just explain to her how she's wrong:thumb_up: Nice acacias! I gotta get some of those growing too. Got some seeds for maidenii, but it sounds like they have a pretty inconsistent alkaloid profile.

matsuri, welcome to the Nexus.

Your garden looks great!

You might have seen these threads about Phalaris already but here you go (no credit to me and tons of respect & credit toward the direction of endlessness and D_Juggz).

The Phalaris Analysis Thread

[In which the 4th link is the next one I will lead you to.]

Phalaris= The Way Of The Future

I am growing Phalaris arundinacea 'Big Medicine' Plants.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks for the tip cosmic spore - I've had tunnel vision on the acacias. Have just ordered some phalaris aquatica seeds. Will let you know how it goes!

I would recommend getting clones of known potent strains of Phalaris, and cutting the grass before seed is produced.

I chose clones of Phalaris arundinacea 'Big Medicine' because it's my understanding that it is high in desirables and low in undesirables.

Grass from seed is often reported to be less "potent" than clones of known potent grass strains.

Best of luck everyone.

Hmm... not having much luck finding anything but seed on the Australian sellers' websites, so could be problematic as I don't have local contacts. I'll stick to seed for now and see how things go.

Update - as of this morning I have hundreds of tiny phalaris aquatica shoots coming up in my garden beds... Thanks for the tip Cosmic Spore!

Oh and my wife is so happy that I have finally bought her a slow press juicer ;)
