I am a psychologist, and I truly believe that your statement is correct, specially when you use the term "key" in that sentence.

Psychologists, Biochemists and Neurologists have a lot of work to do. It is my opinion that these substances should be legal, and that more scientific research is needed.

These are times that promise much for disciplines such as Neurochemistry, Biology and even Philosophy.
