Glyceine Soap and Safety Goggle Fogging

Migrated topic.

I recently washed my safety goggles with some nice quality vegetable glycerine soap and now, they hardly fog up anymore.

Something you might want to try if you have fogging problems. (You DO have safety goggles right? They don't cost much.)

Please wear your goggles, the murky sodium hydroxide water will cause permanent eye damage with even a tiny droplet, and the solvents aren't so great for eyesight either.

i was glad i went with the food-safe tek, i ended up spilling some calcium hydroxide and getting it in my mouth and eyes!!!

very good thing i decided against using a caustic base.

on a more related note: i was taught in scuba class to always wash brand-new snorkel masks with toothpaste, to prevent them from fogging up.
