Golden Door

During a recent experience a Golden Door was presented. It was revealed by two very kind, beautiful and loving beings to be the eternal door of truth, freedom, love, all things one searches for. Once the request was initiated for me to enter - a deep seed of fear and confusion set in. I witnessed both worlds with eyes open or closed, a melting of both, conflicting ideas.
The choice to stay "here" and not go through the golden door has set in motion a sadness that I missed out. The question (to the two guardians of the door) of my chances of returning were answered with a positive tone, however, the journey to get there may be too much.
This experience was overwhelming and at a consistently low dosage (>15mg) I each time (about 10x) have reached what I understand to be a breakthrough level, described on this site as Level III.
Has anyone met with this golden door, does it have relevance, meaning, etc. To preface previous experiences, each time I meet beings, creatures, gods, and friends. Many times these folks show up in golden color such as Kali or in contrast as forest creatures like a root stump (more silly/fun ones) All these folks converse with me about many topics and I feel confident during my exchanges. I have asked for the depths and now, with this last experience, I have a sense I got as far as I could go - was given the door to walk through, and didn't go through.
Wasn't the right time...I've considered this - when is? It feels very daunting to go through the intensity again. The rocket ship feeling is what overwhelms me the most.
If I revisit DMT could anyone suggest a technique for the intensity or the split world effect?

I'd be curious to know if the golden door you speak of and the chart I describe in this thread The DMT Chart - DMT Experiences - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus are any bit the same. It is kinda like a big door and there are guardian figures on it. It's a shame you didn't get deeper into the experience because I would be curious as to what you would have seen behind the door. In order to avoid a split world effect, you'll probably also wanna refrain from closing your eyes until the intensity of the experience dies down. You may want to try some meditation before going into the experience. A technique that I've discovered and that has produced wonderful results for myself is a combination of focusing on my breathing and trying to imagine in my head and really feel like what it would mean to be blissful or peaceful. If you can work on that for a few minutes or so before take off, it may really smooth the experience out. Also remind yourself that no physical harm can come to your body during the experience. However scary it may be, try and keep your eyes closed and see where it takes you. If all of these things fail, you can also try listening to music during the experience to keep yourself grounded if you're not quite ready for the full blastoff.
 
I have very limited experience and I know you're smoking rather than brewing, but I have read about choices like the one you were presented with in Peter Gorman's *Ayahuasca in My Blood*. Gorman often refused the door and I remember thinking as I was reading that I would've refused as well because the power and possibilities are already so strong that it's hard to will yourself to ask for more. Also, it seems like you can't know what you're agreeing to--like some sort of textbook Faustian bargain that will end in total chaos. Anyway, when Gorman told a shaman about his experience, the shaman said he had been offered a gift, and that he might get another opportunity to accept. In any case, if you accept another future offer, please report back!
 
I'd be interested to know if you guys had similar trips. It's weird how many occurrences their are of noticeably similar trips in different individuals.
 
Yes, exactly comic rift! That is a big question lingering in my mind about this Golden Door. The similarities of the fractal images to then the beings, creatures seem to be presented throughout many peoples descriptions, however are there a consistent crew of beings who slew around in the altered dimensions; helpers, healers, distrators, etc.
Have many come to this golden door - if so, what's behind it??!
I think I may compile a "character" list and post.
 
I have not seen this door you speak of, I seldom see the standard visions others repeat. I have had many choices to make threw-out my journeys. I have come to a threshold where I knew I wasnt ready for such things and backed off. Only later after much practice and devotion in the earthly(sober) world did I feel myself ready for such knowledge and accept their gifts.

The biggest question posed to me was (Do you want it?) It was some time before I knew I could do such things. Now I am actively engaged in this process after deciding yes I do indeed want it. For if I said no it would have been the most selfish act anyone has ever done.

As I wrote that last statement I realized that recently I have been guided more by real beings. Previously my guidings were mostly voices in my head. Now they are alien definitely, but not your typical Roswell aliens. And the only reason I call them alien is because I have no other way to describe them. A combo of angels and aliens??????? I am not sure, but I know they are there to help me threw the process.

Good thing U smile :) No need to get jealous anymore haha its happening to all of us whether we are aware or not, the whole alien circus multidimensional thing! Jealousy 2 is quite an alien thing, also got jealousy living in me, probably the same bugger as in sharing yours..

Lola, its amazing how common deities are encountered. A freind encountered a deity on her first experience on sun, a quick sceptical look on google later found her in an instant, Laksmi. Saw a freind 2nite that I shared a journey with a few years back and could now recognise the deity he met that nite way back. We just assumed "mother earth", but it was luksmi..So getting back to it. The door, if you've been brought to the door, that is in itself a gift. And more so that you are so aware of it too. The timewave has begun already so it doesn't matter whether you go through or not. You have been witness to it, ultimately you will go through it and many more eventually, such is the human spirit and its curiosity. The wave must oscillate to its end, it you go to soon you'll get held up, if you go to slow you'll get sped up, the wave will collapse. You are just meant to ponder the door, that is the meaning of the door. Enjoy the gift, the spirit is not quite the same, at all, like the physical, you may already have your gift. You will know when you do, same with the door. You will know when the time is right. Which consider can be very relative. :)
 
Thanks so much dudeonthecouch - the integration of the door has settled in and I'm ready, much more ready to accept the "gift". It feels comforting reading how you described the wave.
