I couldn't agree with you more. Accurate during information is very important, and the prohibition of "drugs" is very harmful.

It drives me crazy that all substances are lumped into the category of "drugs." This would imply that meth and DMT are pretty much the same: bad for you and to be avoided. I meet so many people who I know would benefit from psychedelics, but society and government has painted them as harmful. I have a sneaky suspicion that the lawmakers know that if psychedelics became totally mainstream, capitalism would grind to a halt. Hence, psychedelics are illegal, while caffeine, nicotine, antidepressants, opiate pain killers, and alcohol are available everywhere.
