I've been an occasional lurker here for probably about a year. I found this site after I heard about DMT and started doing some research on its effects and extraction methods. I have yet to actually get my hands on any spice, but I plan to rectify that situation in the near future, and based on the knowledge I've gained so far there's a good chance I'll want a place to be able to reflect on my experiences, and seeing as the nursery is limited in that regard I figured it would be a good idea to post here and try to become a full member.

I'd like to say I like the whole "write an essay to become a member idea". I'd imagine it is a good way to prevent un-knowledgeable or otherwise troll-ish people from posting here and cluttering up the forum.

Anyways, I'm not sure what I will be able to contribute to the forums that hasn't already been posted. However I'm pretty sure I'll have many questions to ask and experiences to report in the near future.

I tend to have a very low post:reading ratio as I spend a lot of time reading, and only submit my opinion when I feel I have something important to add to a topic. My language also tends to be direct and to the point, and I try to keep my posts as short as possible ( not that I mind reading posts with eloquent language, its just not my style).

I hope you guys read this forum on an at least semi-regular basis because I plan to dive headfirst into hyperspace soon, and it would be nice to have a community to reflect on it with.

"Troll-ish people". This has to be the best description of these undesirables I have heard so far. :lol:

Good luck becoming a member. If you are genuine which it sounds that you are, you should have no problem gaining membership some time in the future. :)

Dont worry about not saying 'something new'.. Each person's point of view is unique and valuable.. We are all part of this Great Puzzle, therefore any contribution, eloquent or straight to the point, regular or more infrequent, spice-experienced or not, as long as one is well intended and reasonable, its all very welcome and of benefit to the whole community !

Just stay around a bit more in the nursery, you can post a few question or share your experiences and thoughts in general, and soon enough you'll be promoted

Yes, welcome... Antrocles said it very well (as he so often does)

You will be sure to find people here to share your experiences. First time experiences can be particularly interesting to read, as the first few times (in my experience) are often very profound.

My mimosa arrived today after a month of being in the mail, hooray!

Looks how I imagined good bark powder would be, purplish/pinkish dust straight from Brazil.
