I was thinking for my meditative room, (sanctuary) where I have all of my experiences of spirituality is to put one of every statue of each spiritual practice. Buddha, Ganesh, Jesus, etc., as each religious icon has something valuable to take from it.
Jesus, son of god was enlightened, therefor a son of god but did not use the word enlightened, instead said son of god, he simply realized he was enlightened but we heard what happened when he pronounced "Son of God" not enlightenment, but we are all sons and daughters of god!.... Buddha for peace and tranquility, that all things ARE one and manifest back into another being at one point to another to another. Ganesh for knocking down obstacles and overcoming from bad experiences and circumstances etc.
But the three I've started with seem to go far pretty far with what I can feel with the resonating of each idea/energy they each bring to the table. They wont be in the same place but more or less separated from each other (my statues) as each needs their own bit of space out of respect for each in this sacred room. As I add a carpet or two, some colorful art, and sheets, and trinkets from each culture they come from to have this "blend" of energy for this room.
It feels like a good idea to have all of these enlightened leaders with me for these exp. for I have a feeling they do not hate each other, but are good spiritual friends, its man that separated them from this belief. Who says they hate each other, did they tell you that? lol but even if they were to talk and we know what they really think, I don't think they would hate each other, true enlightened beings live and let live and be whole... Its all jus from my perspective but they all are greater than the opinion of man. So I would sit and breathe in the knowledge that surrounds the room from each.
Lemme know what your room looks like! Im jus starting on mine!
Peace and Namaste,
