I'm not a strong writer. This site is the site of the spice. I've read here for a little while now joining just to see more forums. It seems now though a lot of access is being given to full members so i chose to write a introduction. I've experienced a lot over the last year with spice and its something i wish to continue, but with recent interest in the spice by many organizations and growing popularity i feel its important too keep informed as mush as possible. I first heard of spice years ago from a friend who said it was amazing but so rare, i was interested and read tecs and such and about a year ago my friend showed it too me. Needles to say i was amazed and almost spiritual about it, I'm not a religious person. soon after i had my own, but recently it seems with popularity and other complications its becoming much harder to get. so to stay informed and even begin to become more active on these forums i find myself writing this introduction. I don't really have much to say other then i love the spice and have many views and interpretations of it.

I would very much like to be a full member on these forums. I look forwards to discussions with you

Hi Dcron,

Welcome to the Nexus. You don't need to be a good writer here but we do appreciate new folks taking the time to thoroughly read the contents of the links the the welcome email you got here.

Promotion to full membership usually takes awhile. The mods need to get to know you. It's almost never instant. You need to do some posting, be yourself, let folks get to know you and let the mods know that you understand the rules an culture of the Nexus - this usually leads to promotion. It does not come after a minimal number of days or number of posts or anything like that.

Although, as a new member you are limited to posting in the welcome and collaborative research areas, all you need to do is log on to be able to view the entire contents of all the forums.

So, I am unclear - have you actually extracted your own DMT yet?

Be sure to also check those links in the upper right hand corner of your forum (same as in your welcome email) - they come in handy. Attitude, Health & Wellness, FAQ and of course the wiki, with the extraction teks - these are amazing resources here at the Nexus.

Please take a good look around. This place is huge - it got this way by the contributions of folks who really care and over a period of years. You are more than welcome but folks do need to get to know you.

I for one, look forward to seeing your posts around this place. Again, welcome to the Nexus. :)

all understandable I'm just a little paranoid ha ha. I've done my own extraction from mhrb using lazymans/nomans tec, I've gotten it down quite well but I've never done a defat, never seemed necessary, always a nice fluffy white. I'm also quite interested in ayahuasca and trying it the more tradition shaman way using p viridis, b cappi. I remember reading on here a list of other ingredients shamans use in the ayahuasca and the effects they had on the trip, that seems quite interesting and almost a must try thing.

So a year later and looking at my last posts I seem stupid. I want to become a full member now because I want to be able to post in the appropriate forums. Iam trying to get q21q21's tek to work for the jimjam but i am not having success. I normally do Nomans tek and it works well for me, near 1% with one pull, second pull does not yield significantly. However when I follow q21q21's tek i receive no yeild and loss large amounts of solvent. Im using xylene and pharmaceutical-grade calcium hydroxide with 5% acidic white vinegar and I am starting with 50g of MHRB pre-powdered, my consistency is stir able but has a slow poor like oatmeal or a thick pudding. I tried one pull 6 hours after adding the lime, using 125ml solvent, stirred twice over twenty minutes allowing 5-10 minutes to fully separate. Added approx 45ml vinegar to separated solvent and shook for 1-2 minutes then pipette off the bottom layer of vinegar into a separate container. Noticed solvent (xylene) quite milky white. Vinegar never had yielded. Tried again 3 days later assuming acidification stage didn't go well. used same xylene plus additional 125ml and repeated process using less vinegar as well in separation. Second pull is still clear. Does anything seem off about my steps. i noticed the final vinegar solution smells of xylene despite careful pipette. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
