I have been dabbling in expanding my consciousness for years, however, this thread is being created at a time that feels appropriate. It has taken time and patience but I have been greatly rewarded with an assurance, as well as a new life adventure. Being part of this ever growing community will mean a lot to me. Without the plethora of knowledge amassed herein, I never would have been able to muster the strength or the resources neccessary to extract my first batch of spice. Wisdom flourishes here and is palpable. Such a refreshing feeling is the one I get when I peruse the forum or enter the chat room. What place of patience and support! I hope I am looked on here as an eager student of the ancients. No doubt you will gain much love, as well as a great hunger to share and to learn.

Hello thelastdinosaur!

There is definitely an amazing wealth of info here at the Nexus and am happy to hear you are getting tucked in. Life-changing things are happening here and being a part of it is humbling indeed.

By the way, lovely photo :) Reminds me of when I go snowboarding in the Alps and wake up after it has been snowing all night to find blue bird skies and a blanket of sparkly white powder to devirginize with my board.

See you around!

Hello LastDinosaur, and welcome! You say you've been experimenting with expanding your mind... Let's hear more!

And I'd like to second Kermit's comments about that spectacular photo.

Welcome! :)

And that photo...absolutely beautiful! I love the mountains and the snow! Nothing beats a crystal clear day with piles of white crystals everywhere.

One day I hope to move somewhere such as that. 😁

Let's see... regarding my inward journeys, what can I say? I was introduced to mushrooms around the age of 18 and tried acid in college. I had tried both fungi and lucy many a time before stumbling upon spice. I love the connection to nature I get from shrooms. I love the saturated visuals I get from acid, however, nothing will ever compare to spice for me. Spice is the only thing I have experienced that does what it does and that goes without saying in these parts of the interwebs, where we all came together because of that wonderful molecule and its implications in our lives. I can say this, I used to be fairly close-minded and egotistical. I was very reliant upon the structure that our society had layed out for me until then and it seemed there was no other path to follow save the one that was recommended to me. Go to school, get a job, get married. After all of my trips to say the least I am thinking outside of the box.

Regarding the photo, I am a proud photographer and love to share my captured frames of time and space with all and so, I will be including an original photo with each one of my new threads.

Thank you all for the reads :) may we share much about our inward journeys with each other these coming years.

(here is a bonus photo :)

You are damn fine photographer!

I know when it comes to my art, they have opened up a whole new world to me. Different angles and perspectives on life definitely helped stretch my imagination. Have psychedelics helped you become a better photographer?

honestly, i wouldn't say that psychs have helped me as far as my photo taking technique, as I know how to make what I'm shooting look the way I want it too already, however...

They have CERTAINLY helped open my mind, allowing me to see the worth in capturing many more things than I was used to before. I have a greater appreciation for people and for nature and so my pictures went from those of buildings and oddly arranged inanimates to pictures of people doing what they love to do, as well as awesome displays of nature and its many wonders. I would say that because I am happier with my photos, that psychs have helped me become a better photographer.

So in short, yes sir!

Oh and thanks for the ups :)

Yeah, technically I wouldn't think you would suddenly become amazingly advanced just by taking some shrooms (in terms of shadow depth and field and such). I also think I may have asked a silly question, as I almost can't imagine how psychs wouldn't push someone to be more creative. Specially when the person has the basis of talent brewing.

Anywho, the truck in that last pic looks as if it has a massive flux capacitor sitting in the back 😁 Night shots like that are all ways extremely hard to capture too, so I am even more impressed. Well done!
