I salute this wonderful community of like minded people!

On a first note I can't help it but thank you all for your contributions along time and for the efforts made to build this platform.

I was a lurker around these boards long before I decided to sign in, but actually now decided it would be the right time to part take as a member of the entheogenic university.

Long before I've found the nexus I used to dig for new information regarding my passion for entheogens at places like the erowid, lycaeum or deoxy.

I remember the inter-web lurk on the subject started after I firstly met psilocybe cubensis mushrooms.I think this almost happened at least 15 years ago upon having a small kit gifted by someone, one which my friend and I at the time got depleted fast but managed to withdraw the consciousness expanding experience out of it. That was our first try, we were nonetheless young and limited by our life experience but the experiments have succeeded in unfolding us the vast universal knowledge we were onto at the time. Having the experience triggered in us an almost instant urge to learn more about such organisms and substances on our planet. Thus we discovered erowid and websites alike and began a thorough browsing of substances, based on things heard or read about through quotes of various people, music and whatnot.

At the time we were already introduced to good ol' mary and were using it on a regular basis, also researching its uses and benefits to the point that we somehow managed to find out about 5 hydroxy metabolite experience from eating/drinking it. I recall we used to extract THC and CBD in the for of fat milk brews from wild plants long before we found out the chemistry behind it. This too for us was a full blow psychedelic experience also very potent on the hallucinogenic side, therapeutic in many ways but undefinable and harder for me to grasp better back then. The biggest benefit brought forth by this experience was getting accustomed to the intensity of hallucinations and the odd symptoms that sometimes came in effect. On a side note, the most odd and violent type of trip for me back then has been Datura, but I'm not going do go into that now as I feel this to be a sepparate story and plan on writing it memory recall experience report on its own.

As a result of having lived these things I got laced with curiosity for novel compounds that I had only heard about at the time. Thus came my first LSD trip, a substance which has fascinate me always only by hearing people talk about it.My first experience delivered me into the bliss by the help of around 50ug positively marked my existene for the next couple of years, thickening my bond to inner and outer world.

As time passed and grew older I did manage to harness my passion for these things and continued having psychedelic experiences in various settings an mind states. This way I got my adolescence filled with the glory and creativity brought forth by the psychedelic experience and thinking back I found these tools to have aided me quite well on my maturation road.

Not long ago, be it 2010-2011 a very special person in my life introduced me to Changa. The peculiar name of course made me step back for an instance and ask my questions in regards to what the blend contains and what experience does it deliver. Next thing, what I found out was that these herbs were in fact infused with DMT, a compound of which I've heard being spoken about many times in the past but never had the chance to proper experience it. Scrolling down my memory I knew that it was related to one of my favourite beings the psilocybe cubensis mushrooms. I did not wait for a second offer and did accept the gift. I was instructed on how to use it this thing, to be alone, prepare a nicely cosy setting in my room, to have a balanced state of mind, dose small at first etc. The following night I took into account al the instructions passed onto me, got everything ready, grabbed the pipe I had been gifted also, loaded a pinch and started vaping. I did not need more than the first toke and a slight bit out of the second, held them in for as long I could, my eyes closed whilst, and in a couple of seconds worth I began feeling it's buzz. At first I was expecting much more from it given the fact that most things I've heard about it did sound a little worrying :d
I also remembered being told by the person who gifted me the blend that I should respect the experience and not think about it too much.Well that's what I did next, opened my eyes, left the pipe down and got up and around. To my astonishment what I found next was to be the most profound psychedelic experience of my entire life!! As I got up and started moving around the house everything, every object, every wall, floor piece, everything got transformed in the most artistic way possible. The walls were lit up and coated with layers of transparent plasma that had pattern projections all over them. The electronics in the house compacted their shape and built from materials that made them loook like toys, the wall hangings had writings on them in an unknown language... but I am sure you are already familliar with this  I then went in the darkest room in the house to lie down for a bit and upon closing my eyes I had my first intense CEV of an ever unfolding and very colourfull sri yantra.

Soon after I was back to baseline but could not explain to myself what I've just been through. The journey left me in immeasurable awe and positive feelings. Cought some rest and next morining I urged to tell my friend about it, to offer my deep gratitude towards the gift and ask for more :p

In the coming years I've started doing my own research, and soon after, based on help provided by close ones and this wonderful community I have been able to extract myself and venture even deeper into the realms of imagination.

Blessed be the ones that made it possible!

Thank you for reading me long rattle, but I hope you enjoyed it!

Hello Nereus,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you so much for sharing such an indepth introduction essay with us. It was very well written - I would not have guessed English as a second language to you.

I have noticed your presence in chat and have enjoyed your contributions to date.

Just as I tell most folks, there's a lot to see here, even for experienced lurkers, so do not hesitate to take a good and thorough look around.

Looking foward to seeing you around this ever growing family of ours.

I am also a music enthusiast and enjoy ambient sounds and cosmic music during my journeys. In the coming time at the Nexus I will try to post a little of my taste on the matter.

nereus; your introduction essay is superb! i gobbled up this delightful word-food; savouring each bite as it hit my delicate tongue. i rather enjoyed reading about your experiences and what you've gained from such mental explorations and mental dark periods where your "rythm" probably just got all lost and frightened and out of way and shiz; like mine currently! yay. *violently and angrily coughs*

anywaize; i'd like to learn more about you and the insights you've gained because you write very well and i have a thing for writting and words. words are like brain-sex to me and you're able to make my brain orgasm through this whole writting thiny...

XD well that sounds terribly perverted but technically its JUST brain sex. but yeah; i hope this brain sex is concentual? like; conecentual brain sex is always ok. but unconcentual; oh nu! ... just nu.

remember: keep your brain-protecting supplements on hand if you plan on engaging in brain-course or schoolwork; for if you dost not have a protected brain some can catch a mentally transmitted ignorance.

and if you are mind-raped. report it immediately. this way, the mental rapist may not go on to rape again.

also physical rape is bad too; just thought i'd say that.
