I am a new member and this is my first post. I learned about the Nexus from a friend and decided to join to learn more about medicines, to explore thoughts and ideas and gain a more enlightened perspective. I have very limited personal experience with DMT but found it to be a wonderful tool of self-awareness, growth and teaching the 2 times I used it. It was not only beneficial to me but also to my partner, which is whom I have shared this experience in a ceremonial way. I was able to better utilize healing, empathic and intuitive abilities as we both navigated through the space. I have listened to the accounts of others I know and am always fascinated by their experiences. I have no personal experience with any other psychedelics as of yet. I have known for years that ayahuasca would be a medicine I would get to know, and in its right time, will be a part of my experience. In the meantime, I am looking forward to all the perspectives, teaching, knowledge and information I might find here. I believe it will help me continue on my spiritual path, as well as in other aspects of my existence. I hope I can share with all of you as well so we may all benefit.

Hi Kiej! Thanks for sharing. It sounds like Aya would be right in line with the type of experience you're looking for. The ability to empathize and increase intuition can be incredible over the course of a 4 to 6 hour journey. I would also recommend mushrooms for a similar experience. Powerful tools.

Thank you for your responses! I have been working a lot & just now got the chance to re-visit the Nexus. Will continue to post as I learn my way around here. Ice-I enjoyed your pictures from Tikal. I have spent time with the Maya in Guatemala & I will never forget it. Beautiful people, beautiful geography, beauty everywhere. I can't wait to go back.
