I suppose I'll begin this short essay (if it can even be called that) by relaying my immediate intentions for signing up on this board. You see, I've been researching psychedelics for quite some time but have never had the fortune to partake in them personally. I am also very encapsulated by pharmacology and chemistry, both of which are tied very closely with psychedelics as I'm sure you are all aware. I am interested in completing my own extraction which I feel will make the experience that much better - not necessarily because I believe in spiritual connections (though I do not belittle those who do, it is simply not my belief), but because of the intimacy involved in performing this sort of 'experiment'; I feel that it has a psychological impact which is not easily deciphered but most definitely tangible to those that experience it. In actuality, I feel that spirituality is simply the manner of describing these ethereal emotions and intuitions that we encounter throughout the course of our lives.
What a beginning THAT was! It is most definitely going to be the bulk of this post.
So, as you can see, I am interested in the process, the effects, the MECHANISM of the effects, and everything else involved with DMT and the psychedelic experience.
At any rate, I am arohydro. I am flattered to have the potential to join this wonderful community and look forward to conversing and sharing with you all! Hopefully this post is sufficient in explaining my intentions and in giving myself a brief introduction.
