Long time Shroomery member here, seeking shelter from the storm. Things appear to be getting better, but still......

About me;

Without getting too indepth, I'm an experienced traveller of the psychedelic airwaves, and an enthusiastic member of the entheogenic community. I've been down some crazy roads in life, stuggled with, battled, and eventually beat a nearly decade long addiction to opiates, cocaine, alcohol & pharmies. It took a couple years after that before I felt ready to re-psychedelicize myself. That was not an easy decision for me, as I was afraid of opening Pandora's box. However, it's been beautiful. The cravings weren't unlocked, and I didn't lose my shit. It was nice to look back on everything from the vantage point that I have now. Talk about gratitude. :) I don't trip like I used to, and nor do I plan on it.....but I feel like a little excursion once in a blue moon is good for the soul.

Anyway, even when everything is ironed out over yonder I plan on spending some time here. I've been familiar with this site for many years, I just never joined before.

Uncle Knucles yeah man it's pretty amazing to look back on it all & see where i'm at today. I got really used to my sobriety, and where I'm at.....kinda lost the wow factor. Then I went out in the woods & ate some LSD. That really brought me back home so to speak. I was remined of how much I've overcome, and how lucky I am. I experienced so much gratitude that I couldn't help but tear up. It's easy to forget & get caught up in the grind of life.
 
Welcome to the Nexus Dark_Star. It's good to see that the shroomery is starting to resume normal service, but yes, please do stick around. Sounds like you've been thrown some stuff to deal with and you've learnt from your lessons, which is excellent.

It seems as though you are finding or have found your balance, which is great; as the journeying/integrating ratio is so important, and when you find your balance you can obtain maximum benefit.
