I never have tried shamanic journeying, but am interested in it.  It's funny.  After I posted here, I called my aunt which I haven't spoken to since spring.  She told me about shamanic drumming.  Maybe the journeying and drumming are something I should explore.  Any information on this would be helpful.  I understand there is Google and whatnot, but often times someone who has done it can point one in a better direction.  I would be most appreciative. 

It's funny you mention sensory deprivation.  That concept seems to be arising a lot lately in my experience.  It must be something else I need to look at.
