Harmine -> Harmaline Conversion Method

"Converting Harmine to Harmaline
[Palladium or platinum catalyzed hydrogenation should work fine for this conversion but no presentation as such as been located in the literature. This reaction appears to occur spontaneously even in pure harmine; during storage.]"
Seems out of reach for home experimenters although i do not doubt there could be easier methods. I think here you are waiting for someone like Benzyme, Endless, Phlux or Infid to respond.

It mentions "oxidising" harmine to harmaline (hm, shouldnt it be a reduction?!) with various means such as nitric oxide, potassium permaganate, ammonium nitrate and chromic acid.
