have problem/need help with heptane reX

Add the heptane slowly by couple of mls at a time, dont shake it all, instead just let the warm heptane do its thing, just make swirling movements. As you add the heptane you should see a darker layer forming. Dont add so much that it all dissolves, rather add till you see most dissolved but dark layer is on the bottom.
This amount should usually be around 20-30ml per g, yeah, but maybe for some reason yours is dissolving "better" (Too hot heptane? Too much shaking? Heptane has mix of other solvents in it that dissolve dmt better?). So instead have the 20ml just as an idea but go by the looks and without shaking.
Remember to add a bit more heptane to the dark goo to dissolve more of the stuff in the goo, and freeze separately, for second quality but still very active crystals

If you're still looking for other suggestions and you've got some time, try this method:
Since you've already got the xtals in a heptane solution, use a heat bath to warm the tubes (or shot glasses, whatever you've got) until all the spice dissolves, then immediately put them into some sort of insulating container to cool it off slowly. A small cooler with towels inside works great from what I hear. Monitor them carefully because there is a specific temperature that will allow the yellow oils and fats to collect, but if you wait too long it will crystallize. When that happens just return to the heat bath until the xtals dissolve and repeat. Once you've separated as much as you want you can transfer the solution to a new container and cool slowly and then freeze. You can get really white xtals with this method, but watch out since your yield can decrease significantly the more you pull out.
