They are not so much more expensive than a Sherlock GVG (some 20$), but indeed the pads are quite expensive !

I don't think they would wear out so easily, but they could be lost very fast : they get a little stuck, so you tap the pipe and the pad goes rolling under a furniture :surprised

This piece is rather small in comparison with the GVG, though, which is still a very very nice piece of glass.

The only difference is that this one has colors, it is fancier, but I still don't know about efficiency for spice.

If it reveals itself almost as efficient as a GVG (don't flame the messenger yet ), then its price difference with the Sherlock isn't a big deal.
