1st and foremost, thanks for providing such a forum with a respectful forward attitude. I must say I admire this forum due to its unique laid back vibe, and I have been highly intrigued by the informative posts ever since I accidentally stumbled upon this place.
So... a little about me and how I came into contact with the swirly radiant pretty colors existing on a similar plane...
Once upon a time, in the late 90's I was a college student just doing what most college kids do. In the process of self discovery, I started tuning into things I had never tried before. I came from the far east side of the globe, which worked as a very conservative society while growing up. Nowadays there's hints of psychedelia in my home country, but back then it was so remote and under the surface. So naturally everything in college for me came to me as a culture shock. Not to mention I think I went through dynamic range of emotions from home sickness to bliss at the hands of the green goddess. It was only natural for a curious soul such as myself to stumble upon to psychedelia eventually. Until that point the only information I had on these substances were that it generates hallucinations and you get a feeling that a snake is crawling up your skin. (Never got the snake feeling to this day.) Little did I know these substances had the possibility to work as a portal key, that can take you places far out of the standard imagination. Ever since I started seeing the patterns on the walls, the rooms breathing, tracer shadows of the trees above reaching far into the horizons of the sky, I became a follower of the vision. The world seen from a different perspective impacted my life like none other. To come to understand that this was here all along came as the deepest shock of all followed by awe of the beauty of a world I had no idea existed. The significant thing that has changed since then is the level of experience under the belt. I still mingle in the visual planes from time to time, but has learned boundaries and limits... somewhat.
The reason for me being on this forum is straight and simple. I have been hearing of the existence of spice for close to a decade. Why I have not yet gone there is out of sheer caution. Back then, I wasn't close to any information so my cautious nature didn't provide me the opportunity to zoom into hyperspace. Also, I had learned my lesson with Aya and regretted not informing myself well enough before partaking on the ritual. The most regrettable part was the lost context of the journey except for small visual bits due to not preparing properly. With spice my intention is to be fully prepared in most aspects, as much as one can prepare.
