Welcome to the Nexus.  What a great Introduction Essay - thank you so much for sharing.

More and more of us middle aged "re-entry students" (to psychedelia) are showing up here.  It makes me feel very good.  You are going to be pleasantly surprised (I predict) for how DMT can wake one up out of a midlife crisis.  It sure did for me,  .

I would highly recommend you read Dr. Strassman's book "DMT The Spirit Molecule," as it is MUCH better than the movie (typical).  It has the subjects and experiences but also a fascinating progression of how he gets his research authorized.  And then in the end things go a bit Leary-esque.  Highly recommended.

I love your attitude towards reading and research but don't be afraid to ask questions as they come up.  You can post them in the open area, first time extractions or even jump into chat for some quick answers.
