As I wander in seek for knowledge, destiny (and some search engines :)) led me to this harmonic community! In many years behind me I tried to explore my body and mind trough various journeys! Some of them was good, some of them was bad and led me on some wrong paths! Deep inside me, some inner light saved me from those bad paths and gave me strength to continue and not to be deceived again. I embraced every day of my life with smile and love and share with everyone around me, but I couldn`t stop the feeling that I live inside of bubble of soap. Like that I`m in one beautiful world but far far away, behind those sparkling and wonderful walls of reality is something greater and it is just behind a corner, one breath away and it will discover me everything that I want to know, it will discover me even the questions I want to ask! Somewhere between I have found out for DMT. It interested me, but I came unprepared. I tried it, but I didn`t respected gateway as I should and it wouldn`t let me in. I realized after. I must work hard to earn respect. I must show unconditional love and it will embrace me then, and only then will let me trough his wonderful gates! So... last part of beginning is here. I must find some seeds, plant them, love them, grow them, share my life with them and one day, not matter how long I must wait they will love me back and let me in.
 
The spice does require respect. It can either not let you in or kick your but if you do not give it the respect it deserves.

It shows us things and takes us on a wonderful journey of discovery and awe.

It will show you things beyond your wildest dreams that you could never even comprehend or believe was possible.

Spice is a teacher and a portal to the other side. Show it respect and it will show you things.

Help you learn lessons that you need to learn.

I too grow cacti's. I haven't grow any dmt containing plants yet cause it is almost impossible to find seeds or cuttings here, but I have no fear cause I believe I'll find a way to them.

Welcome to the Nexus. It sounds like your life to date has been quite a journey of exploration and learning lessons. And it continues to this day. I am very glad you have decided to join our Forum. I believe we have a lot to offer you and suspect you will have much to offer us too. :D

Would you be willing to tell us about your psychedelic experience to date? I understand you tried DMT and did not fully breakthrough. Have you used any other entheogens?

Did you extract your own DMT? If not tek's can be found in the Wiki link up above. . .

Respect, surrender and love are very important for me to personally have a great DMT trip. Launching with a smile helps a lot.

But, I must say, vaping/smoking technique are a factor here, as DMT tolerance sets in almost instantly. This means your first toke must be the biggest. This means you have to hold tokes for at least 10 seconds. This means you have to get the entire dose into your body within 60-120 seconds usually.

Take a good look around - this place is huge and has a lot to offer to the DMT traveler at the beginning of their explorations.

As hostilis said, the experience needs respect. We're dabbling in something very special, and very sacred. Intention also is very important before imbibing. Intention 'can' set you in a good direction. Surrender, also very important during the initial onset; not imposing any specific thoughts initially. All these things are a pretty solid recipe when partaking in the DMT experience.

I didn`t extract myself DMT, it was given by very good friend of mine - it is almost impossible to find any source of DMT in my country! Intention was maybe wrong at moment I tried for first time DMT so he never open`d his door to me! Therefore for my redemption I want to begin from start! I`m in search for seeds right now, but I have patience and trough years I hope I will learn enough to earn his trust!

Most of my psychedelic experience was obtained trough shroomies, and some trough LSA and mescaline! Also some of my experience that I`m not proud of was from some synthetics but those was never pure and life fulfilling experiences like those that Mother Nature gave us. It was only satisfying for demons I had!
