Hey all,

newbie here, in every sense of the word. The only thing I've ever had that could've been associated with which society refers to as 'the naughty stuff', is a little bit of weed. And even then I didn't care for it that much (mostly because I took too much and got sick). However, due to life circumstances and traumatic events, I'm now in sort of a depressive/hazzy funk. I'm looking to try different remedies to see what can help. :)

Not only am I simply looking for a mood-booster, with my research, I've come to the conclusion that there may be more to life than simply my ego-centric conceptions (I'm an atheist). I've been researching spiritual things in terms of Buddhism, after-life accounts, and extra dimensions/higher states of being. It's interesting, to say the least. Now I'm looking for answers, and I heard some trips are very enligtening (I wanna talk to some of these elves I've been reading about).

I heard Aya or Iboga is a good place for introspection and healing, so I'm mainly interested in those things. Though, I have read that people who take DMT usually end up having their mind-blown.. in a good way. So, I'm open to everything really, and hope my journey takes me down a path to deeper spiritual growth and understanding also.

Here's to Nature!

Although, it can have great enlightenment qualities, it never has a garuntee of getting to the point you want and rarely is the same as what anybody would expect. I am not trying to scare you off of the idea, but make sure you research everything you can and bring yourself to the right mindset if you do. There is not a better place I could imagine researching than here.
Welcome, if you have not already, I would reccomend reading the entire FAQ and it is useful to research on the wiki also.
Many things good to know before and after, you may want to know more.
Looking for answers can be hard. Most of the time I travel, I come back with more questions.
Be safe
