Rising Star
Over the last couple days swim performed Nomans tek and has successfully made his first pull. It was actually fairly easy other than some early difficulties trying to retrieve the naptha without sucking up lye water with it. He refined his technique and was finally able to successfully avoid sucking up any water.
Last night he was eager to try some and loaded what he thought was a small dose in-between some parsley. He has seen it mentioned here more than once that a pencil eraser's worth is approximately 50mg. This spice had been mashed in a folded piece of paper so maybe it was quite compressed? Anyway, he only put a little bit in there, way less than an eraser's worth. He fired it up and held it in a long time, until reality started changing pretty significantly.
It was incredible. Everything looked alive and electric. It was way more intense than what he was expected but he maintained ok, even though it was frightening. He's glad he didn't put any more in than he did though. Also, he kept his eyes open because he was afraid he'd break through or something and he wasn't prepared for that. Maybe he was a long way from that happening, it's hard to tell right now. Regardless, he feels that things will never be quite the same after that experience.
I just wanted to make my first post and introduce myself, this is a great community and the love here is palpable. I have learned a lot already from spending lots of time reading here.
