This is my first post. While I have both read about and personally experienced Ayahuasca, I have never experienced crystal DMT. One day I hope to travel to a nation where the people and laws are evolved enough to allow this sort of experience.

The reason I'm here is actually in regard to an article I'm developing. I'm researching anything and everything about the art of laying blotter. A rough draft is available here and it needs corrections, elaborations, and improvements. Note: Login is required to view the information.

I'd like to publicly welcome DMT NEXUS and its members to critique the document in this thread, by private message, or anonymously at The Shroomery. I look forward to an engaging discussion on the subject. I'm certain there will be some interesting pieces of knowledge and photos shared in the thread(s).

I guess it would be fair to introduce myself a little bit better as well.

I have been interested in psychedelic substances since I entered college back in 1994. The first time I experienced Cannabis with friends during my first semester was life-changing.

Since that time, I've read a fair amount about psychedelics, including entheogens, and I've experienced a large number of them firsthand. I've also become very familiar with identifying many species of Psilocybe mushrooms from around the world. I'm active on The Shroomery as Trusted Identifier in the Mushroom Hunting and Identification forum. If you ever need help with this topic, you are always welcome to message me. It is best to get multiple opinions when identifying mushrooms though.

I am very slowly writing a guide on how to perform microscopy on gilled mushrooms. I have intentionally made it an open-source document for a number of reasons, and you can view it here freely. It takes a few minutes to load so don't pull it up on your smart phone. Your data plan will be devoured.

As far as DMT goes, I think I will continue reading about this subject here. I'm interested in learning from people using scientific literature (including PDFs) and from personal experimentation.

you may be interested in some of my self experimentation i'm currently writing a report based on micro dosing and the effects how continued use can effect ones life. I may like you to help me identify some mushrooms I have no experience in this field what soever and am a complete beginner regarding them I have never tried shrooms or any other psychedelic other DMT and cannabis.

I am unfortunate enough to suffer cluster headache and studying the effects it has on them. (which seems very promising).

Looking forward to information you have to share these is lots of information here already so enjoy having a good read through some of the posts here by other members i am sure you will enjoy

Thank you for the warm words. I'll be happy to help anyone with identification of mushrooms. I wonder if The DMT-Nexus has a plant/fungus identification subforum(?).

Some people have experimented with very small (very, very small) doses of active (psilocybin) mushrooms. I know of one report that is good and helped someone physically. I'm not certain how many days this can be done in a row, though. DMT microdosing can be done by making a Psychotria viridis/Banisteriopsis caapi beverage that is quite dilute in distilled H2O. A sip or two can be drank. I'm not sure how practical or helpful this type of dosage is. For me it didn't do much.

awesome document. mushrooms are cool from an purely engineering point of view and your document captures their beauty professionally. btw i am looking for buying mushroom material for studying its structural and mechanical properties, in particular giles i don't care about chemical composition.

Mushrooms are ubiquitous outdoors and can easily be grown indoors too. For those of you interested in performing microscopy on any species in the order Agaricales, I recommend hunting for your mushrooms in Nature. If you want to guarantee yourself a collection, it is best to buy a pre-sterilized mushroom kit and a spore syringe.

In the U.S.A. (the land of the free?) there is a great source for spore syringes known as Sporeworks. For spawn/substrate bags I'd head to Everything Mushrooms.
