CactiOfLight
Rising Star
So I'm really new to the world of psychedelics but my experiences so far have been extremely beneficial. In my limited experience, over the past year I have used mescaline 8 times and psilocybin mushrooms 6 times. Being that I was using these for their therapeutic properties I consumed small test doses of each substance initially waiting several weeks before taking a larger dose. For my first true experience I cut 4 feet of San Pedro cactus which I then cooked in acidic water for two days pulling every 4 hours and replacing to fresh water. I then reduced this to roughly 3L. I went into the desert with an interested neuroscientist and a close friend with a small amount of cannabis. After consuming the liquid in two doses 20-30 minutes apart I sat down and began to meditate. Approximately one hourin I began to feel some nausea and stimulation, so I took one small hit of the herb to settle my stomach until I felt enough mescaline had been absorbed. Half an hour later I found myself running to a bush in a confused state with very low blood pressure(cause of the nausea) and allowed myself to purge. Now the trip begins, I never had any OEVs aside from some very slight peripheral morphing and waving, closed eye visuals are a different story, grandpa cactus showed me everything that went wrong in my life and how I've not only been damaged by abuse as a child but how I in turn was harming others but he did it in such a gentle way that I was more than eager to listen and follow along as I walked through the desert. He is the greatest medicine I have yet to try and will continue to let him teach me. In the future I am looking forward to working with DMT once I am settled down long enough to grow an M. hostillis large enough to survive me collecting the roots. Looking forward to getting to know all of you, if you have any questions feel free to ask if there is anything you want me to know please do tell. As a side note, any literature you feel I should read? Looking for recommendations and always looking to learn more.
