not really i have nothing to support this , i am only hoping that it will work for viruses ,

truth be told i am not really sure it will help atall , i am hoping it might help and this is only an assumption  ,

i am clarifying this a bit so Cieran dose'nt jump into the deep waters just because of  rue's anti-bacterial properties , as it might not really help the virus situation and could also exacerbate the situation further , frankly i have no idea atall , i would advice the OP to tread cautiously considering the medical situation
