Hi
My first post new and just thankful that there appears to be a place online where I can read sensitive, sensible and credible info about DMT.
Having experimented a couple of decades ago with various psychedelics I thought that the idea of me “tripping” was long since consigned to an ancient history.
However, through a number of channels I had over the years heard about DMT and, having retained a healthy curiosity on such topics, added the mental note to keep my eyes and ears open should that opportunity ever come round.
Unexpectedly, a few weeks ago a friend mentioned that he had acquired from a friend-extractor that he had some DMT in the form of Changa and would I be interested to try it with him.
With little knowledge of what to expect I did some reading up in terms of how best to smoke it and away I went with the expectation of having an experience somewhat akin to LSD or Wiltshire’s finest Liberty Cap even if that seemed somewhat contradictory to what I was reading of when it came to DMT.
Half an hour later having experienced and comedown from the unexpected chaotic, liquefying visuals and intense vibrations I was starting to nascently understand the difference between the seeming triviality of those previous experiences and could feel myself set on a journey to start exploring this far deeper than I had ever imagined I would in my mid-40s.
Four weeks passed between that first experience and setting the scene for myself to enjoy a whole evening and to my mind a much more controlled session ie more comfortable surrounding, better pipe and vaporiser.
That night (last night) convinced me of how wonderfully powerful, intense, terrifying, enjoyable, unique an experience it is and that I feel at the start of an unexpectedly interesting and potentially amazing period of my life.
There is a huge temptation to describe it but there are clearly plenty of better descriptive writers here so instead I’ll spend my time reading those rather than at this time merely adding to them. Perhaps I’ll manage that at some point in the future, in the meanwhile, “hello” and I look forward to being a member of this forum.
Regards
GHF
