Greetings good people of DMT Nexus!
I recently stumbled upon this forum seeking more in-depth psychedelic information than was available elsewhere. I generally don't participate in online forums, but I found this one so impressive I simply had to join.

I would consider myself somewhat experienced with psychedelics, LSD, LSA, Psilocybin mushrooms, and DMT in particular. I've participated in 3 successful spice extractions as well as a few other seemingly successful kitchen chemistry endeavors. I largely consider the psychedelic experience to be a spiritual one. While I have indeed used these drugs for their recreational properties, I find that they work best when used to attain what could be considered a mystical state.

I look forward to being a part of this fascinating region of the internet!

What methods did you use for extracting DMT so far? Any specific area of research you are into lately?

Each time we've soaked powdered mimosa hostilis in lye solution to convert to free base and extracted with naptha. On the first attempt,we decided to take half of the naptha/alkaloid solution and try freeze-precipitating the alkaloids, which worked alright but provided for a very powdery product. Sort of like Elf-Snow. We found that, for our purposes, evaporating the naptha in a brownie pan was a far superior method.

Lately, I've been interested in pharmahuasca. While I've smoked DMT on many an occasion, I've never had an oral dose. I need to acquire an MAOI. Thinking about using harmala alkaloids.
