Rising Star
Hey everyone. thanks for taking the time to read my essay. I consider myself pretty experienced in the unknown. I've been in the psychedelic culture for a few years now. It amazes me the negative associations many people still have concerning psychedelics I've seen them help many more people then they've harmed. Yet there is still a tremendous consequence if caught by law enforcement. I've been helped in so many ways it wasn't but about 4 years ago I was "chasing the dragon" of a certain prescription medication and was introduced to L and that morning when the trip was coming to an end I decided that I had been a complete idiot for wasting my time doing that stuff and decided it was time to move on and create a better life for myself and so far I have. I'm stoked at the community of awesome people who are the nicest kindest and generous people I have ever met that I now call my friends and family. I've truly found myself over the past 5 years of my life and I'm living my life according to the pursuit of happiness while giving back what I receive. I love meeting new people along the way and I travel as often as I can (which is a good bit). Anyways peace and love all you beautiful people.

Hello DimensionAscension,

Welcome to the Nexus. Thank you for your intro essay - I enjoyed reading it.

I also really love your avatar. How many licks until the hyperowl gets to hyperspace eh?

Which brings me to, have you tried DMT yet? If so, smoked or oral and what did you think?

Based on what you wrote I'm confident you will find many friends and a feeling of "family" as you learn more about this place and participate more. I'm looking forward to this.

Again a warm welcome to you.

Welcome, DimensionAscension! It's pretty amazing how easy that prescription medication is to get hooked on. There's so much of it around! And like you said, it's such a waste. I believe the psychedelics have huge power to help people. It's almost supernatural how they seem to find people. I am glad you have joined us! It sounds as if you have joined for one of the same reasons I did, to give back. I owe a lot to this place, and am happy I'm a part of it. I'm sure you will be, too!

So many Nexians, myself included, come from a history of negative addiction and now try to just do plant based entheogens (with the occasional LSD thrown in, :) ). Many of us know the territory all too well.

When you took the LSD and decided you were done with this addictive part of your life, was it a big dose, small dose, medium one? I know there's no way to measure, but how profound did the trip feel to you?

Thank you that owl is a painting I did his name is Demetry. Yes, I have tried dmt. I've smoked it several times but never ingested it, although I'd like to try that soon. A lot of the art I do is inspired from dmt and other psychedelics.

It wasn't even a big dose, it was my first time getting real LSD and I only took 2 moderately dosed hits of paper. During the first 5 or 6 hours of the trip I was enjoying myself to the fullest and at the latter part I had some serious reflection time and have been on a path toward enlightenment and self improvement ever since. I'm really stoked to be a part of a community that looks beyond the material world and understands there is so much more to life then work and money.
