Hello, people of the DMT-Nexus!

Hello, I really like this site. It's one of the classier forums on the internet, and I'm especially interested in the Ethnobotanical Garden.

I really like growing plants, I have Ipomoea tricolor, Argyreia nervosa var. nervosa, Psychotria alba, Mitragyna speciosa, Banisteriopsis caapi, Phalaris arundinacea var. Big Medicine and a whole bunch of seeds, not necessarily psychoactive. Unfortunately, it's winter in my area, and I'm trying to preserve my indoor growing space for my most dear green friends.

I learned about formosahuasca from this site, and tried it, but it sort of scares me. It feels so deep, but I don't think I'm ready to go there right now. I think the acacia trees are verrrry powerful though, very much deserving of respect. I have recently been coming into a relationship with the Morning Glory, and I think it suits my purposes just fine, as well as having a special personality that I find adorable, loving, sunny, but not altogether easy. So, I might want to share some information or experiences I've had with them, as there seems to be quite a bit of misinformation about my friend Ipomoea.

Oh, my caapi isn't looking so good either (her leaves are too light, almost yellowing). I might want some help treating her better, she is still mysterious to me!

I just want people to know I'm here. Hello, everyone!

Hmmm, well, one thing I've noticed about both Ipomoea and Argyreia is that the fresher the seed, the easier the body load and more pronounced the mental effects.
With old seeds, there seems to be this really heavy body load, lots of vasoconstriction, nausea, and a sort of horrible way-too-tired feeling (I theorize some more lysergamides with dopamine affinity are present).

This is why I've come to the conclusion it's definitely preferable to grow your own morning glory (since they're really very hardy plants) and eat them as soon you can.

With Ipomoea, my favorite technique is just a cold water extract, maybe in something like coffee or tea. With Argyreia sublingual/buccal works really well, and there's not too much nausea.
I have yet to try an Argyreia cold water infusion, but I have an order coming in soon, and maybe I'll try it and report back with the effects of various methods of ingestion.

The effects of the morning glories are really different from other plants/fungi. To me it's always been very enlightening or zen-like without a whole lot of visual distraction. High-dose HBWR gave me brightly colored vision, various other open-eyed visual effects, but little in the way of visions through the closed eye like with DMT. It's dreamyness really sets it apart too. I've never had LSD, so I can't compare.

Welcome to the nexus kerelsk. :D
I am interested in starting a garden soon. I have not dabbled with it too much though. I look forward to seeing you on the forums.
