Cheers man 8)Yeah - some experience - still a relative novice on this one though. I was first offered the spice back in '94, but turned it down as it sounded a tad scary - had friends who were experimenting some using the book "Ayahuasca analogues" which I read myself, but it made it sound like you needed shaman training or something to survive the experience (I also think there is a certain amount of the universe telling me the time wasn't right - like any psychedelic you need to be ready to experience it, and your subconcious knows if you are or not). Then a year or so ago some new friends went on the journey and gave us a much more sensible idea of what it was like - one of them (Buster) is a reg here, and he pointed us in this direction, so I came digging. Used the STB approach in Lazymans tek (with Mim. hostilis), and did a bit of playing about with different non polars to see what happened (naptha first, then tried toluene and then xylene - tried a zinc redux on the xylene extraction after washing it several times with naptha, as I thought the red/brown substance might be N-oxide, but it turns out not :? ).Enjoying the experiences (although one or two with the darker red/brown stuff have been borderline and almost too much) - been using the cleaner stuff to treat a minor case of alcoholism with pretty good effect - I find it's hard to run away from the mirror the spice holds up, and the lies you can tell yourself under the influence of alcohol are no longer believeable. Also finding that the after effects are wonderful - you look at the universe in a subtly altered way for a week or so afterwards, and the first day or so you feel pretty much on top of the world (which is not something that can be said about any other conciousness altering substance). May go for the Syrian rue enhancement next, but not 100% sure yet (I've been told it's fantastic, but as I'm not totally sure I'm taking the view that my subconcious thinks it isn't time yet 8) ).8) 8) 8)
