My name is not Vanessa, but I play Vanessa on TV. :)

I am nearly 60 years old. I believe that we are all elders in training and that by the time you reach the half-century mark, you should have something to show for it.

My life experiences might give me a relatively uncommon perspective to contribute here. I was around for the Sixties and dropped acid hundreds of times. I have spent time with shamans in the Amazon, including the famous (formerly) head-shrinking Jivaros (aka Shuar). I have attended the Santo Daime church various times, so I have had the opportunity to experience oral DMT in a formal religious context. Things like that might mean I could give a certain perspective on some questions that could come up.

I have also experienced many psychedelics, including ayahuasca and purified DMT, but I imagine that is nothing remarkable here.

Hallelujah! This forum really needs wise feminine elders. I hope you hang in there through the compulsory nursery inflicted on new members.... It is no reflection on your value or wisdom. In fact the threads are often just as good there since everyone seems to read and answer threads in the nursery as much as other threads.
